PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - With last night’s 4-2 win over the Braves (see related story), the Phillies reached the 100-victory plateau for just the third time in franchise history. (The others came in 1976 and 1977, both 101-win seasons.)
KYW’s Matt Leon spoke this morning with Phillies’ broadcaster Chris Wheeler from Atlanta, to talk about the team reaching the 100-win mark, preview the remaining two regular-season games in Atlanta, and talk about the lineup and the bullpen going forward into the postseason.
Matt Leon and Chris Wheeler also talk about the Braves as they desperately try to hang onto the National League wildcard slot.
