ERIAL, N.J. (CBS) – Police in a Camden County town are investigating an accident that involved a school bus and five cars early Thursday morning.
The accident happened at about 7 a.m. near the intersection of Jarvis Road and Pine Street in Erial, New Jersey.
According to investigators, a Gloucester Township school bus was involved in a five-car chain reaction crash. There were no students on the school bus at the time of the crash.
Three drivers complained of pain and were treated at the scene by EMS, but refused transport.
In addition, investigators say a second accident occurred at the same location shortly after the initial crash. There were no injuries in the second accident.
Both crashes remain under investigation by the Gloucester Township Police Department Traffic Safety Bureau.
