What better way to spend a crisp fall day than by taking a day trip with the kids to one of the Delaware Valley's idyllic farms for Pick Your Own Pumpkins? Many of the farms in the surrounding counties have fantastic fall activities in addition to pumpkin patches such as corn mazes, hayrides, apple cider, pony rides, petting zoos and more. Every weekend in October, Active Acres Farm hosts pick your own pumpkins at its Sleepy Hollow Pumpkin Patch. Take a hayride out to pick the perfect pumpkin. Plus corn maze, inflatable haunted house bounce, a corn cannon, duck races, pony rides, farm animals and so much more fum for the whole family. Then in the evening, the Sleepy Hollow Hayride takes passengers to some more spooky fun with a haunted house, field of fright and live music.
