Blog: Angie’s List is looking for the worst bedroom in America and will help the unhappy owner turn that nightmare into a dream room. The “winner” will receive $5,000 and free year-long membership to Angie’s List to fix it up.

Eligible contestants do not have to be current Angie’s List members, but do need to be U.S. citizens, part of the Facebook crowd and willing to submit a photograph of their bedraggled bedroom.

The room voted worst in America by Angie’s List Facebook fans will earn the makeover help.

Deadline for entry is Friday, Sept. 23, 2011. The top-25 finalists will be posted on Angie’s List’s Facebook page on Sept. 26. Fan voting will run from Sept. 26 until Oct. 10. The winner will be announced Oct. 12.
