Gloucester Township, NJ (CBS) – A Runnemede, New Jersey man found himself in trouble with the law — right after leaving court for an unrelated criminal offense.

According to Police, 32-year-old Jonathan R. Delviscio was dismissed from Gloucester Township Municipal Court on Tuesday afternoon, then proceeded to walk across the street to the Sunoco A Plus store in Laurel Springs, New Jersey, where he stole the bicycle of one of the employees.

A patron from the store contacted Gloucester Township Police and followed the suspect in their vehicle until police officers arrived.

Delviscio was arrested on charges of theft and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

He was being held on $500 full cash bail.
