PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police nabbed a bank robber in record time Saturday morning.
Police say a man walked into the Susquehannna Bank at 18th and Walnut Streets just after 10:30 a.m. and handed the teller a demand note. The robber then took off with an unknown sum of cash.
Bank employees notified police and then officers spotted the suspect 15 minutes after getting the call. They arrested him at 4th and Market Streets without incident.
No one was injured.
