PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A one vehicle accident involving a stolen minivan killed one teenager early Friday morning. A second teen in the vehicle fled the scene after the deadly accident.

The incident happened at about 2 a.m. in the northbound inner lanes of the Roosevelt Boulevard at Rorer Street in the city’s Feltonville section.

According to investigators, an unidentified male was driving the stolen minivan when he lost control of the vehicle and it rolled it over several times.

A 15-year-old was ejected and run over by the van. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say another occupant in the minivan fled the scene on foot after the deadly accident.

Police still don’t know who was driving the van. The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
