CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) – A suspect has been arrested in connection with two attacks of women on the Ben Franklin Bridge this week.

Forty-seven-year-old Joseph Haskins is accused in the attacks that occurred Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning.

According to investigators, the first incident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. Monday. Haskins is accused of attacking and sexually assaulting a female who was jogging on the bridge’s walkway.

The second attack occurred at about 7 a.m. Wednesday morning. In this incident, Haskins is accused of groping a woman on the bridge walkway. Investigators say the victim in this incident kept moving and was not assaulted.

She has not been identified at this time, however other pedestrians on the bridge reported the incident.

Delaware River Port Authority officers found Haskins still on the bridge walkway and took him into custody. Following his arrest, investigators say the victim in Monday’s attack identified Haskins as the person who attacked her.

Haskins has been charged with Sexual Assault.

Investigators are asking the victim in Wednesday’s attack to contact them. Anyone with information is asked to call Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Investigator Carlos Plaza at 856-225-8400.
