Lightning Possibly To Blame For Man's Death In Delaware County

MIDDLETOWN Twp, Pa. (CBS) -- Authorities are investigating a possible deadly lightning strike at a home in Delaware County.

David Toy was found dead under a tree on Citation Lane in Middletown Township, at about 7 p.m. Tuesday night.

Eyewitness News spoke with a man who was doing yard work when the storm blew threw and he believes Toy was doing the same.

"There was a lot of thunder and a lot of lightning and then this big burst, a big ball of light in the middle of the street and I just quickly went in the house, then I heard another one about seven minutes later."

An autopsy is expected tomorrow to determine the cause of death.
