Heat To Blame For I-95 Buckle Near Commodore Barry Bridge

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- PennDOT has closed the I-95 Southbound ramp from the Commodore Barry Bridge due to poor conditions believed to be caused by the heat.

PennDOT crews are currently working to repair the section of highway.

Officials say motorists will be able to use the Flower Street Exit to access I-95 South. (Latest Traffic)

The section of highway broke apart at about 3:15 p.m. Monday afternoon and officials from PennDOT expect the roadway to be closed throughout the evening.
