West Chester Man Killed, Wife Injured
WEST CHESTER, Pa. (AP) -- Police say a man is dead and a woman injured in a shooting in a suburban Philadelphia home.
Capt. Joe Gleason of West Goshen police tells the Daily Local News of West Chester that a preliminary investigation indicates that a domestic dispute appears to have erupted at about 5:30 a.m. Monday.
Police said 53-year-old Michael Takacs died and his 37-year-old wife Mary Takacs was injured.
Police said he had moved out of the home about two months ago and was living in a nearby apartment.
Gleason said two children aged 2 and 9 years old were home at the time but neither was injured.
Police recovered a firearm from the home and are investigating.
