PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating a double shooting that killed one man and sent another to the hospital early Wednesday morning.

The shooting happened at about 2 a.m. at Broad and Brown Streets in North Philadelphia.

Police say a 34-year-old man was shot in the head. He was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where he pronounced dead.

A 24-year-old male was taken to Temple University Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.

So far, police have not made any arrests and a motive in the deadly shooting remains under investigation.
