WOW What A Day, "TALKING"!

I just finished shooting THE TALK. I was invited to guest co-host the hour long show in LA with Sharon Osbourne, Leah Remini, Sara Gilbert and Philly girl, Holly Robinson Peete. I was sitting in for Julie Chen who is on vacation.
It was truly one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had.
Perhaps the best part was how warm and accommodating everyone was to me, especially the co-hosts!
They are all very famous people who have exciting lives and countless adoring fans. But they all made a genuine effort to make me feel important and comfortable on their turf.
They were so generous with "their airtime".
One would think that getting a word in edgewise with such a strong group of women would be a huge struggle for the new girl, the "fill-in", but it turned out to be just the opposite.
I got the feeling that they truly wanted me to do well. They treated me with warmth and respect as if I were a guest in their home, which in a way, I was.
But looking back, it all makes sense.
They are a team. They work together as a single unit for the good of the show rather than for their own individual reasons.
It's no wonder that THE TALK is doing so well in the ratings nationwide.
Plain and simple, it's a fun show to watch!
The only bummer for me was that I didn't get to meet Julie Chen. I'm hoping that one day in the future our paths will cross and I can thank her for such a fabulous opportunity.
