Suspect Armed With Knife Robs Tacony Corner Store

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for a suspect who was caught on tape robbing a Northeast Philadelphia corner store.

The incident happened at about 5:15 p.m. on June 14th at the Lisa & Charlie's Market store located in the 6000 block of Torresdale Avenue.

Surveillance video from inside the store shows the suspect entering the business and looking around to see if any other customers were inside.

The suspect then turned towards the counter, pulled out a knife and demanded money from an employee.

The employee gave the suspect approximately $60 in cash before fleeing the store on a black bike.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'11" in his 30s.
