PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Phillies are red hot on being the greenest team in baseball.
From buying into to green power and collecting recyclables, you can add another environmentally-friendly home run to their record.
This morning the Phils are teaming up with Waste Management for the Red Goes Green Ecycle event.
The first 200 people to show up at the drop-off area in lot “S”, from 8a.m.-11a.m., will receive an autographed picture of pitcher Ryan Madsen.
Waste management spokesperson John Hambrose says this event allows you to get rid of electronics that are safely disassembled by professionals.
Starting next year, it will be illegal to throw out electronics from home.
