New Survey Says Americans Are Spending More Free Time Working

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A new study indicates that Americans are spending more of their free time working.

According to a Bureau of Labor Statistics American Time Use survey, Americans have less time to relax on the weekends, and they often use that time to do work.

Local responses to the survey seemed to reflect that.

"I'm retired, but I need to retire from retirement!" one person said.

"You have too much to do?" asked KYW's Hadas Kuznits.

"Absolutely!" was the reply.

The survey also showed that women worked more hours overall when compared to men.
