CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) – Fire officials are investigating the cause of a blaze that gutted two abandoned homes in Camden County early Monday morning.
The fire started just after midnight at 9th and Chestnut Streets in the city of Camden.
According to fire officials, the blaze engulfed two abandoned homes. The fire was brought under control in approximately an hour.
A portion of Interstate 676 was temporarily closed due to smoky conditions.
There were no reports of any injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
