PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Authorities continue to investigate a double fatal motorcycle crash along the Roosevelt extension in East Falls early this morning.

According to police a man and woman were riding on the motorcycle along Route 1 near Ridge Avenue when the 45-year-old male driver lost control of the bike and crashed shortly before 1 a.m.

The female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was taken to an area hospital and died a short time later.

The identities of the man and woman have not been released.
