Delaware Woman Dead In Apparent Drowning
HUNTINGTON, Del. (AP) -- Police in Delaware say a Huntington woman is dead in an apparent drowning.
Authorities were called to a home on Brownsville Road on Saturday morning for a report of a drowning. Once there, authorities discovered 52-year-old Charlotte Pritchard and transported her to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Authorities believe Pritchard was in the pool for 45 minutes before being discovered. Her daughter called 911 when she found her mother unconscious in the pool.
The incident is under investigation.
