NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) — New Castle County police have arrested two Maryland residents and seized 94 bags of heroin they alleged had in their car. One suspect’s 2-year-old child was in the car at the time of their arrest.
Twenty-four-year-old Phillip Mulvey and 23-year-old Angela Antonelli, both of Elkton, Md., have been charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, endangering the welfare of a child and other offenses.
Police had information that the two were selling drugs and set up surveillance. On Tuesday, the two were spotted in a department store parking lot and taken into custody. Police found the heroin in the car, and Antonelli’s 2-year-old child.
