LANDISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Police say a father and son wrecked their motorcycles in separate crashes a few minutes apart on a central Pennsylvania road, leaving one dead and the other hospitalized.

State police say 21-year-old Anthony Cragles died early Sunday when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a bridge. A few minutes earlier, police say his 46-year-old father, Scott, had lost control in the same area and been thrown from the bike.

Scott Cragles is hospitalized in critical condition.

Police say alcohol was a factor in both crashes. Neither man was wearing a helmet.

@ Queen: Exactly!! That’s why I asked ‘and this is amusing how?’ Because there is nothing funny about the loss of life or the injury to anyone. People need to wear the shoes of the victims and their families and see how it would feel. I can guarantee, it wouldn’t be funny then. Heartless people.

i do not find anything funny in this story at all. there is a mother who is now crying over losing her son and then she has to go to the hopstial to be by her husband’s side while he is in critical condition. yes drinking did play a HUGE factor in both of the accidents but i do not find anything funny in someone’s death.
