GAP, Pa. (AP) — Police say a central Pennsylvania man needed just five hours to tally two drunk-driving crashes.
State police say 64-year-old George Martin Jr. was involved in two DUI crashes Saturday evening in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County.
Investigators say Martin rear-ended another vehicle, causing it to be pushed into a third car around 6 p.m. Police charged him with driving under the influence and he was released.
But around 11 p.m. police say Martin, of Intercourse, crashed another vehicle into a tree, sustaining minor injuries. He was arrested a second time and charged with driving under the influence.
Police say Martin also faces summary vehicle code violations. A phone listing for him could not immediately be located Monday.
