WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Police are investigating the homicide of a man who died at a hospital shortly after being found on a street in Wilmington late Sunday evening.
Police were called for the report of a person down on the sidewalk at the intersection of 23rd and N. Pine Streets shortly after 10 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a black male in his 20s who was unconscious and unresponsive, with apparent gunshot wounds.
The unidentified victim was taken to Christiana Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
