PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Opera Company of Philadelphia Presents Puccini’s Tosca April 29th through May 8th at the Academy of Music.
Romanian Soprano Adina Nitescu explains why Tosca is such a beloved Opera.
“It’s the music. I think it’s, first of all as in almost every opera, Puccini is the bond between music and drama. Here I think that if you do not feel and you do not act it loses from the power. So you have to do what Puccini wrote. And you have to try at least to make this connection between the word and the music.”
