Newark Police Seek Public's Help In Locating Home Invasion Suspects

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - Newark Police are seeking the public's help in identifying three male suspects connected to a home invasion last month.

The suspects allegedly robbed a home in the 100 block of Victoria Court on March 17th at about 9:30 p.m. Police say during the incident, the suspects, armed with handguns, entered the home through an unlocked door.

Once inside, they confronted two victims on the first floor family room and confronted a third victim on the second floor bedroom. The suspects fled the scene taking cell phones, wallets, and personal computers with them, according to police.

One of the victims entered his vehicle and tried to follow the suspects who were seen fleeing in a gold Dodge Stratus possibly operated by a white, blonde-haired female, police say.

The suspects eventually jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot, leaving the female operator in the vehicle. The victim stopped following the suspects at this time.

Police say none of the victims were injured during the invasion.

Police describe two of the suspects as black males between 18 and 22 years old. The third suspect's race is unknown, but police say all the suspects were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 1-800-TIP-3333.
