PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Amtrak has joined the social media movement and is now tweeting about major problems.
You can get tweets about major rail disruptions on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor, the Keystone Service from Harrisburg to New York City, and a shuttle further north according to spokeswoman Danelle Hunter.
“Several trains being stopped or no rail service at all between Boston and Washington D.C. on the Northeast Corridor, that’s what we describe as a major service disruption.”
She says this is just a pilot program and it will be monitored and changed or ended as needed. You can check them out on www.Twitter.com or follow the tweets on the Amtrak web site.
