Singing Group Featured On 'Glee' Appearing In Bucks County

BUCKINGHAM, Pa. (CBS) - A university-based Acappella group from New England that's featured on the hit show "Glee" will be making an appearance in Bucks County next week to help raise money for American Red Cross relief efforts in Japan.

You don't see them on camera, but you hear them on the hit show "Glee." The Beelzebubs provide the vocals and arrangements for the Dalton Academy Warblers. Next Friday, they'll perform at Central Bucks East High School in Buckingham. The connection, Evan Powell, 2008 CB East Grad and the group's business manager. Powell says they have a storied history, forming nearly 50 years ago.

"It's sort of an institution at Tufts. It was started by a bunch of guys who got together for a winter singing competition and sang an arrangement of winter wonderland and it's sort of ballooned from there."

This year the group has eleven members. He says they'll sing something from "Glee" and plan to perform some covers they are recording for an album that's due out in the Fall. While here, they'll do a workshop with the CB East choir.
