Cops: Woman Stabbed By Great-Grandson In Cheltenham Township

CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – A great-grandmother was stabbed in Montgomery County and police say her great-grandson is responsible for the crime.

The incident happened Sunday evening inside a home in the 7400 block of 4th Avenue in Cheltenham Township.

According to investigators, the eight-year-old suspect stabbed his great-grandmother in the back twice. The woman was taken to Jeanes Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The incident remains under police investigation.
