Gloucester County Teacher Arrested For Possession Of Child Pornography

DEPTFORD Twp., N.J. (CBS) — Gloucester County police have arrested a teacher’s aide for possession and distribution of child pornography.

Robert Nines, 26, worked as a teacher’s aide at the Bankbridge Development Center, part of the Gloucester County Special Services School District in Deptford, was arrested Wednesday morning at his home.

According to police, the arrest came as a result of a peer-to-peer file sharing investigation by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit.

Three computers and a digital camera were seized from the Nines’ residence for examination. An analysis of the items recovered is still ongoing. Police recovered numerous still pictures and videos of children engaged in sex acts.

At the Bankbridge Development Center, Nines was assigned to work with a teacher on classroom activities with students between six and nine years old.

Nines posted $10,000 bail and was released.

The investigation is ongoing.
