PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A new iPhone application is allowing dog owners to show off pictures of their pets in style. And a portion of the proceeds benefits abused animals.
The application is called CoverPuppy.
“We got news wolf, vanity fur, bone appétit, spot’s illustrated,” according to Evan Urbanian, founder of Philadelphia based Chatterblast; a social media consulting company. It’s the first application released by the company.
“We saw this opportunity for “CoverPuppy”, which is this really fun idea to put your dog on top of a lampoon, funny magazine cover and give some money away to charity at the same time.”
A portion of each $1.99 application purchased will go to the ASPCA.
“You very well may see cover kitty or cover baby and other fun ones down the road as well,” added Urbanian.
CoverPuppy is available in the iTunes app store.
