3 Suspects In Port Richmond Home Invasion Robbery Apprehended

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Three suspects wanted in connection with a Monday night home invasion in the Port Richmond section of the city are all in custody.

At least one of the three is hospitalized after being shot by police.

Police say they spotted the three suspects as they came upon the scene, near the 4500 block of Melrose Street.  One of the suspects who attempted flee was shot in the buttocks; he was taken to Aria Hospital’s Torresdale division for treatment.

The other two suspects fled, but were quickly apprehended near Orthodox and Stiles Streets.  All face a long list of charges including breaking and entering, reckless endangerment, and conspiracy.
