REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (AP) – Delaware State Police say they are investigating a string of robberies in the Rehoboth Beach and Lewes area.
Police say the four robberies occurred within hours of each other Saturday night and they are being investigated as separate crimes, although investigators have not dismissed the possibility that one or more could be related.
State Police say three of the robberies occurred in Rehoboth Beach and the fourth in Lewes. One robbery involved a home invasion in which an 81-year-old man was robbed and the other three involved victims who were outside when they were approached and robbed.
