MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) – Two firefighters were injured Saturday afternoon when they fell from a ladder while battling a house fire in southern New Jersey.

Middle Township police say both firefighters were taken to a local hospital. But further details on the incident and their injuries were not immediately available.

The pair were among several firefighters battling the blaze at the 4th Avenue home, which was reported around 12:25 p.m. and extinguished several hours later. No other injuries were reported.
