BLOG: Radisson Soon To Charge For Internet

By Jim Donovan: If you like to stay at hotels that offer free internet access, you may soon need to do something extra before booking a stay at a Radisson.

Radisson is currently the biggest full-service hotel chain in the U.S. that provides internet access to all guests at no additional cost.

But beginning this summer, if you don’t join its revamped frequent traveler program, known as Club Carlson, you could be charged up to $10 a day for using the internet.

Are you kidding – I just booked the Radisson – big mistake.

  2. Frank says:

What frequent traveller doesn’t join the hotel’s club?

As long as the club is no charge, do it.

Otherwise, I’ll stick with Marriott and Starwood.

  3. Joseph Steinman says:

The next step is to start charging guests for breathing air using a daily flat rate.
