February Is Date Month In Philly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Looking for something to do for Valentine's Day in Philadelphia?
Al Lee with the Independence Visitors Center has declared February date month in Philadelphia with "13 first dates," a list of themed things to do with that special someone. For example, there's the subway date:
"They have the love letters tour which is sponsored by mural arts in West Philly. They have all these love letters so the tour would be, you would meet at Love Park and take the Love Letters tour and then once you're done, you would take the EL back to 30th Street Station and then walk over to the Cira Center for JG Domestic."
Or the skyscraper date:
"You go up to the City Hall Tower, you of course take pictures and then you end up at R2L for lunch."
But of all the dates, he neglected to mention the romantic date. Lee is leaving that one up to the visitors:
"And my only requirement for the romantic themed date is that you celebrate the city somehow."
