16-Year-Old Delaware Boy Robbed At Gunpoint

NEWARK, Del. (AP) – Newark Police say a 16-year-old was robbed at gunpoint after a party and fight at the George Wilson Center.

It happened Saturday about 10:25 p.m. The victim had left the party and was in the parking lot when a fight broke out. The victim ran away, but returned to look for a friend.

While in the parking lot, a man with a black semiautomatic handgun approached the victim and several others surrounded him.

The man took his cell phone and fled on foot. The victim was not injured.
