Delaware Woman Charged With False Report Of Sex Assault
NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - New Castle County Police have charged a Wilmington woman with falsely reporting a sexual assault.
Twenty-five-year-old Brittani Eatmon is charged with falsely reporting an incident. She is being held on $500 secured bond.
Police say on Tuesday night, Eatmon reported that an acquaintance had tried to sexually assault her at his home. Officers say Eatmon had inconsistencies in her statements.
Police say the incident never happened, and that Eatmon reported the alleged crime to get the acquaintance in trouble for telling her friend to leave his home.
