Del. Pastor Indicted For Stealing From 2 Parishes

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — The Delaware Department of Justice says the pastor has been indicted on charges of stealing more than $358,000 from two parishes.

The Rev. Cornelius Breslin surrendered to Capitol Police on Wednesday.

Officials say the Diocese of Wilmington reported suspicious financial activity to the Attorney General’s office. Authorities say Breslin wrote checks to himself from the accounts of St. Mary’s and St. Patrick’s Parishes, where he is pastor.

And there are two legislatures who want to introduce legislation to cap civil damages for victims of clergy sexual abuse to a maximum of $250,000.00 along with the archdiocese spending how many hundreds of thousands of dollars each month to protect themselves from disclosing what they knew and when they knew it ! Yea keep donating to an organization that sexual abuses children and then claims bankruptcy or ‘sovereign immunity’
