SHARON HILL, Pa. (CBS/AP) -- A garage fire in suburban Philadelphia killed 10 dogs, and officials are investigating whether the structure was an illegal kennel.

According to Sharon Hill Fire Captain Chris Miller, a call for the fire came in at 9:06 a.m. Thursday and was fully involved when officers arrived. After putting out the blaze at around 9:30, 10 dead pit bulls were found to have perished in the fire.
