Phils Spring Training Tix Selling Fast
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Even with all of the hype around the Eagles' playoff game this weekend, Philly sports fans are also turning their attention to getting their hands on Phillies spring training tickets.
Eager for the crack of the bat and a warmer climate, Phillies fans are snapping-up tickets to see the Fightin's in Florida. Phils ticket VP John Weber says because season ticket holders and three-pack buyers got first dibs -- there's already limited availability at Clearwater's Bright House Field.
"For a Yankees game or a Boston game, there may only be a couple thousand tickets, based on all the presales and the three-packs," Weber said. "For a different game, there may be 6,000 tickets available. So if people are flexible with their schedules, there are tickets available. But certain games are obviously selling better than others."
Today is the last day to buy three-game spring packages is tomorrow at 9 am, single-game spring tickets go on sale.
