WALNUT GROVE, Mo. (AP) – The pilot of a single-engine airplane that crashed in southwest Missouri has been identified as a 47-year-old man from Pennsylvania.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Curtis Stoudt of Uwchlan Township, Pa., died in the accident Monday about five miles east of Walnut Grove.
The Chester County man was alone in the Cessna when it crashed. The NTSB says Stoudt didn’t file a flight plan.
The National Transportation and Safety Board is trying to determine the cause of the crash.
