I love hearing this during Christmas. I just wish it was being played as often as it used to be played. I’m fairly sure it was on hourly from Christmas Eve through all of Christmas Day. Next year please have it on more times during the day.

I was sitting in my living room tonight with my family listening to this once more and reminiscing. Thanks for continuing to play this. I am Vince’s son Steve and although I miss him dearly, it’s nce to bring him back from time to time.

I E-Mailed you guys back in early December hoping you would post this. Thank you Thank you. This is a true Philadelphia tradition! This brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it during the season. It reminds me of what things that once were. It reminds me of loved ones who have passed. Most of all it reminds me of the Christmas spirit and that Santa, however you look at it, is always in our hearts. I am in my 30′s but I love Philadelphia and I love Christmas. Its about the family and its about the children. Its about giving and its about paying it forward. I hope everyone who remembers this recording listens to it this year and shares with friends and family and about how it makes them feel and what they remember when they listened to it years before. I hope they also share this recording with children and people who have never had the privilege to hear it. God Bless the staff of KYW, the residents of the Delaware Valley, and rest in peace Vince Lee. Merry Christmas Everyone!
