PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — CBS 3 and KYW Newsradio 1060 will once again broadcast Philadelphia’s New Year’s Eve fireworks live from Penn’s Landing at midnight on December 31st.

CBS 3 Anchors Chris May and Susan Barnett will host the spectacular display as part of an hour-long New Year’s Eve special airing from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on CBS 3. Meteorologist Kathy Orr will be reporting live from the Blue Cross RiverRink joining families as they watch the magical display of color choreographed to music simulcast by KYW Newsradio 1060.

KYW Newsradio will broadcast the official soundtracks to the fireworks shows to allow revelers wherever they are to tune to 1060 AM to enjoy the fireworks displays with their coordinating soundtracks.

The television broadcast will also take a year-end look at major events in entertainment, news and sports and will feature a Disney on Ice Toy Story 3 performance on the Blue Cross RiverRink.
