CHERRY HILL, NJ (CBS) -- Shoppers have been out in force at area malls as Christmas rapidly approaches, and they’re expecting good prices.

Some shoppers at the Cherry Hill Mall say the deals are out there but selection is somewhat limited.  Many were armed with store coupons and said they were are having fun saving money.

(Female shopper:)  “It’s like a game, yeah, because not all the coupons apply to all of the stuff and I’m, like, ‘Can you just try this?’  And today, one of the coupons actually worked even though they said it wasn’t going to.  I got an extra 20 percent off!”

And for others, like this man, it was  one-stop shopping — he got all his gifts in one day.

(Male shopper:)  “I was able to find everything I needed, so it wasn’t that challenging finding sizes,” he said.  “But it was difficult finding boxes in the store where I shopped.”

And judging by the bags I peeked into, there are a whole lot of you that will be getting a Phillies shirt with the number 33 on the back (see related story).
