PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A South Street business is selling trendy Christmas trees and ornaments that may tickle your fancy.
Feathers are a big trend this year in holiday decorating, according to Alexis Pew a designer for Busybee Homestore and Design center in the 700 block of South Street and she says she loves them.
For about $300 — a 7 foot tree — made out of feathers could make that unique statement you were looking for.
“They come in all different colors. Our most popular ones right now are the white and hot pink, which we have in our window display. You can put lights on them. You can decorate them and then after Christmas, they fold up flat so you can store them away easily,” says Pew.
Pew says there are glass ornaments for sale with single feathers floating in side, “They’re really pretty and there good not just for the holidays but you can decorate with them all year round.”
And there are unique gifts for sale in the store as well so there is more than just a goose egg to put under the tree.
