Police Search For Suspects Involved With Delaware Store Theft

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - Delaware State Police are searching for two suspects in connection to a robbery that occurred at a Newark department store December 3.

The robbery happened Friday at about 8:05 p.m. at the Khol's located on the 2800 block of Pulaski Highway. The suspects, Melissa N. Denney, 20, and Brian Dougherty, 29, allegedly stole nearly $900 in clothing and video games, authorities said. The suspects were last seen fleeing the parking lot in a 2006 Saturn Vue.

Police have been able to identify the suspects who are being charged with shoplifting and conspiracy, but they are unable to locate the pair.

Delaware State Police are requesting the public's help in finding Melissa N. Denney who is described as 5'5", 105 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, and Brian Dougherty who is 6'1", 190 pounds with brown hair and eyes.
