Rock Thrown At School Bus Injures Philly Teen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police say a 17-year-old girl was injured Friday afternoon when somebody threw a rock at the school bus she was riding in.

It happened at 21st and Clearfield Streets at about 4:30 p.m.

Police say they have no suspects and don’t know why someone would have targeted the bus or the girl. She was the only one injured in the incident.

Police say the rock hit her on the head. She was taken to Temple hospital, where she’s reported in stable condition.
