Girls Rock Philly Hosts Second Ladies Rock Camp

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Looking for a unique holiday present? How about a membership in Ladies Rock Camp, for the older rock wannabees?

Girls Rock Philly is launching its second year of Ladies Rock Camp, a weekend-long day camp and fundraiser held February 19th through the 21st. Over the course of the weekend, there will be chances for women 19 and older to learn to write songs and play an instrument.

Girls Rock Philly director Beth Warshaw Duncan suggests it's a great holiday gift:

"Someone who has never played and they get a little worried and they say, 'I don't know how to play, is that all right?' And we say of course. We take anyone as long as they're over 19 and we take anyone of any skill level."

Each $400 tuition fee for Ladies Rock Camp will fund one girl's scholarship to attend the Girls Rock Philly Summer Day Camp in 2011.
