Holiday Garden Railway At Morris Arboretum

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- If you can't face walking around a mall this weekend, how about taking a walk in the garden instead at the Morris Arboretum? There's still lots to see this time of year – the last of changing leaves, fall fruits and berries, our native witch hazels in bloom, and as of this weekend, their miniature Garden Railway will be decked out for the holidays.

As if the model trains running on 15 lines through a quarter of a mile of track amid miniature buildings made of natural materials aren't cute enough, it's all twinkling with holiday lights and the tiny buildings are draped with garlands and decorated with teensy trees and wreaths right now.

You can enjoy the Holiday Garden Railway from 10 am to 4 pm through January 2nd as part of your regular admission to the Morris Arboretum, which is always free for members and kids under 3 – who as you may know, can be very serious trainspotters.
