Holiday Shopping Beginning With Pre-Black Friday Sales
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Holiday shoppers can expect big discounts early and often this year. Pre-Black Friday specials are going on in stores and online.
Retailers are being aggressive this year with big sales earlier to get the holiday shopping season off to a good start.
Woman #1: "Black Friday was like the day after Thanksgiving and now they got everything before Halloween. I'm not ready. With the economy and everything that is going on, they're just rushing everything."
Woman #2: "I think there are some good buys out there. I don't know how much better those buys will get because they seem pretty much bottom dollar right now."
And others say the holidays are too commercial and refuse to stress over shopping:
Woman#3: "Christmas is overrated so I don't really do the holiday like that but I'm going to buy some gifts."
